Entering Phase 2 of The Seed Game -- Angelika
Finding the seed -- Awareness, Quantum Entanglement -- Puran
Magical Realism -- Isha
Next Open Circle - Sunday, Dec. 11, noon EST.
Awareness is key to Phase 2 of The Seed Game, but we’ve probably all experienced how difficult it can be to maintain the focused awareness we were speaking about on Sunday merely by intending to. Our habits and the momentum of our daily lives tend to draw us back again and again into “auto-pilot” mode—the streams of reflexive thoughts and behaviors we adopt to get us through the day.
Gurdjieff was a great proponent of “disruptors” (like stop exercises and setting alarms) to pull us out of those mindless channels of being. Every few days, over the next couple of weeks we will send you a mini-chilla. The object of these simple challenges is to help you experience various ways to open and maintain focused awareness (attentive availability, affectionate attentiveness) in the midst of your daily life.
Sunday, Nov. 13
For those of you who couldn't join us last Sunday and as a review, here is an audio recording of the session.
Next Open Circle - Sunday, Nov 27, noon EST.
As we did on Sunday, at each Open Circle we will form small discussion pods to enrich our conversations and our experience of community. These groups will change at each Open Circle. We encourage you to continue these relationships by contacting, chatting, sharing ideas and creativity with the members of your small group. Here are the names of your group members:
1. Andrew, Angelina, Sharif, Lawrence
2. David, Basheera, Avery
3.Avinash, Chris Wilson, Gary, Trace
4. Daniele, Nadaly, Mark.
5. Christine, Monika, Gabriel.
6. Doon, Laura, Emer, Patrick.
If you were not present and would like to join a group, please contact Angelika (firstname.lastname@example.org) Or someone you may know or like to get to know on the list.

The Oracular Function
The Seed Game is based on deepening our responsiveness to the worlds around and within us. As Murshid Fazal often suggested these worlds are, in a way, sending us "messages" all the time. This is what he called the Oracular Function. The familiar oracles--I Ching, Tarot--are just a couple of modalities; here is another:
Start by considering the relational aspects of your life you are looking into.
Then chose at random one of Pir Elias' Flashes.
You can do that be clicking here.
Do this several times in the next week or so.
